Beginning March 2nd, 2011 the Chapman location drive thru will be open until 5:00 p.m.,every Friday, the lobby will close at 4:00 p.m..

Beginning March 3rd, 2011 the Chapman location will be closed on Saturday’s.

The lobby and drive thru will both be open 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Central City location beginning March 3rd, 2011.

Savings Bonds Changes

Over-the-Counter Sales of Paper Savings Bonds Ending in 2011

Customers can buy electronic bonds online at www.treasurydirect.gov

The U.S. Department of the Treasury will end over-the-counter sales of paper savings bonds on December 31, 2011, including sales through financial institutions and applications mailed directly to the Federal Reserve Bank by customers. This move is expected to save taxpayers an estimated $70 million over the next five years.

Although paper bonds are being discontinued, electronic Series EE and Series I Savings Bonds will remain available for purchase via TreasuryDirect. This secure, web-based system, operated by the Bureau of the Public Debt, has been used by investors since 2002 to purchase savings bonds online.

You are invited to attend your Credit Union’s annual meeting. Enjoy a meal prepared by the Archer Zion Methodist Church. Be entertained by R.P. Smith, a cowboy poet from Broken Bow, Nebraska. R.P. has entertained thousands of folks with his stories and poems which have been inspired by his family, the ranch livestock, and most important, his Lord. Plus take part in your Credit Union’s business meeting and elections. Also be prepared to win a door prize! We hope to see you there!
