We are excited to announce the hiring of Shay Hinrichs as an Ag Loan Officer for our St. Paul location.

Shay will originate, manage, and supervise the credit union's portfolio of agriculture loans.

"With my 8 years of experiences and education in banking and over 4 years of Ag Lending, I am looking forward to helping local farmers reach their business goals. I wanted to work for a financial institution who is invested in their communities. After researching Archer Credit Union, I found their mission matched well with my values. I am excited to help others thrive financially while also helping our area communities find success," says Shay.

Rex Minert, President/CEO of Archer Credit Union, states, "Shay's talent and background will be valuable to our members as we continue to grow and service the needs in the St. Paul and Dannebrog area. We are looking forward to him being a part of the Archer Credit Union family."

Shay grew up in Giltner, Nebraska. He graduated from Bellevue University in 2016 with his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He has experience as a Branch Manager and an Ag Loan Officer and enjoys working through complex problems and reviewing related information to develop options and implement solutions. He worked for Homestead Bank in Howells, Nebraska and is ready to help the members at Archer Credit Union.

Shay resides in Palmer, Nebraska with his longtime girlfriend Shelbea. She is the 2nd grade teacher and head volleyball coach for Palmer Public Schools. Shay and Shelbea combined have 4 children, Braylon-7, Paxton-6, Memphis-3, Briyer-3 Months, as well as one dog named Bristol. Shay enjoys golfing as much as anything, as well as the lake, boating and traveling with Shelbea. The thing Shay enjoys most is spending quality time with Shelbea and their 4 kids.

"I am ready for this opportunity to make a difference in the financial lives of our Ag Members by helping with their continued growth and well-being," says Shay.
