Give a Hoot About Savings
Give a Hoot About Savings
April is National Credit Union Youth Month! Credit Unions across the country are celebrating youth members, encouraging kids in our communities to start up a savings account, and helping them learn to be wise about money. Youth Month is a great time to Give a Hoot About Savings, and teach kids about the benefits of saving and the benefits they can receive as members of Archer Credit Union.
Ways to get Involved
There are a number of fun ways to learn and get involved!
Find out what kind of saver is your child
Open a savings account
Help your kids become savvy savers with our Junior Growers Account, available to all kids age 12 and under. This account has several features and benefits to help encourage our youngest members to save their money and also have fun when they visit Archer Credit Union!
WIth just $25 to open an account, kids receive a prize when they open their savings account as well as can participate in an on-going prize program to keep kids excited about saving!
Win prizes
Every Archer Credit Union branch will be having a "Guess the Amount of Coins in the Jar Contest!" The child with the closest guess to the correct dollar amount wins. Even better, we will also be drawing for 30 other great prizes, including a drawstring bag full of goodies and a color changing cup filled with tasty treats.
Chat while you color
