The theme of Archer Credit Union’s annual meeting could have been “Change”. In addition to a new location, new food selection, and welcoming both members and non-members, the Annual Meeting’s keynote speaker also suddenly changed. State icon Dr. Tom Osborne was the backup speaker for Head Husker Volleyball Coach John Cook, who had come down ill earlier in the day. Seven members received Archer Credit Union scholarships to attend the Women in Agriculture Conference on February 23-24 in Kearney. In total over 325 women attended, representing every county in Nebraska, as well as parts of Iowa and Kansas. In its 32nd year, the Women in Agriculture Conference assists women in their agricultural business by providing relevant management education.
