Multi-Factor Authentication
Beginning on June 23, 2026, Archer Credit Union will utilize multi-factor authentication (MFA) across its Online and Mobile Banking platforms. This may prompt members to enter multiple "factors" on the log-in screen.
Digital access to bank accounts is the preffered access point for criminals to commit fraud. We are committed to providing you with the financial security you deserve and trust and MFA is the next way we’re fighting fraud.
WHAT IS MFA?
Think of it like installing multiple locks to your front door. Someone can't just access your bank accounts digitally utilizing a stolen password; they must have at least two of the following "factors" to gain access:
- Something you know: YOUR PASSWORD
- Something you have: A CODE SENT TO YOU VIA EMAIL, CALL, OR TEXT
- Emails will come from ArcherCU@newsolutions-alerts.com
- Calls will come from:
- Text messages will come from:
- Something you are: YOUR THUMBPRINT OR FACIAL RECOGNITION
When it comes to your finances, security is of the upmost importance. DO NOT EVER SHARE YOUR PASSWORD OR CODE WITH ANYONE!
If you have any questions about MFA or your account security, please don't hesitate to contact us at any of our four branches.
