Home Mortgage Loans

Your largest single life investment is the purchase of a home. Whatever home you decide to buy, your Credit Union can help you with a mortgage loan. A checking account from your credit union offers you the savings and convenience you want to manage your personal day-to-day finances. Our checking accounts are truly “free” checking. Unlike our competitors, check orders are provided at cost.  You will not find any monthly fees on your statement.

Junior Growers Program

Archer Credit Union is celebrating National Credit Youth Month by introducing our NEW Junior Growers Account. The Junior Growers Savings account is for members 12 years and under. This account has several features and benefits to help encourage our youngest members to save their money and also have fun when they visit Archer Credit Union! Fun features of the account include:
  • Children will receive a piggy bank and/or Archer mood cup at account opening
  • Deposit Punch Card: they will receive a punch for every $5 deposit that the child makes in person. Once the card is full ($50), it is entered for a quarterly drawing.
  • Treasure Chest: kids can pick a small prize each time a deposit is made.
  • Higher interest rate and APY than our regular savings.
  • Archer Bucks: reedemable for a $5 deposit into a new (or converted) Junior Growers account. These will be given out from time to time to promote the account.
  • Periodic Junior Growers events/promotions (TBD)

Student Share Certificates

Archer Cooperative Credit Union supports its youth members by offering a Student Share Certificate at rates above current market rates. Increased youth member returns help students save for college or other educational needs. Visit with Credit Union staff to answer any of your questions.

Health Savings Accounts (HSAs)

A Health Savings Account gives you more flexibility and control over your health care costs.  You will be able to deduct contributions to your HSA, the account earnings will accumulate on a tax-deferred basis.  Best of all, distributions from you HSA are tax-free if they are used for qualified medical expenses.  To open an HSA you must select a high deductible health plan.  Contributions and plan deductible limits change frequently so consult you tax professional regarding your individual circumstances.

The perfect savings account to help you save for the perfect vacation or Christmas gift. You can start saving today with a deposit of $25.00 and continue to save each month up to $3,600 per year.

IRAs/SEP

Start planning for your retirement today by opening an IRA account at your Credit Union. With outstanding rates and funds that grow tax deferred year after year, an IRA account is an important part of your long-term savings portfolio. A Traditional IRA offers tax-deferred earnings and the possibility of tax deductible contributions. A Roth IRA is funded by non-deductible contributions but gives owners the opportunity for tax-free withdrawals.

Your Archer Credit Union debit card lets you make cash withdrawals, transfer funds and make balance inquiries from your share or share draft (checking) account 24 hours a day, 7 days a week using an ATM. Also you can make over the counter purchases using a point of sale (POS) terminal debiting the money directly from your share draft account. Best of all it is accepted worldwide at millions of merchants displaying the MasterCard logo.

If you need to report your card lost or stolen you can call 1-833-462-0798, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

To dispute a transaction, please call one of our locations and we'll be happy to walk you through the process.

Reloadable Prepaid VISA Card

For wherever you go and whatever you need the prepaid VISA card will work for you.  You can make purchases domestically or internationally.  You can deposit funds from your credit union checking or savings visa a secure website or at any ACCU location.  Just present your card at time of purchase and the amount will be deducted from the card balance.

VISA Gift Card

For a wedding, a shower, a birthday, a graduation, or any occasion you can get the perfect gift by giving a VISA gift card.  These are accepted anywhere VISA is accepted including retail and online merchants, mail and phone orders.  We offer reloadable and non reloadable.  Ask any Credit Union staff member about these.

I’ve have been with the credit union since 2015 but I’ve worked in the financial industry since 2004.  I graduated from the Agricultural Lending School in 2014 and received my Associates Degree in Business Administration in 2019. 

I’m excited to serve Archer Credit Union as the Branch Manager of the St. Paul location.  My family has a background in ranching and cattle operations in Custer County.  I have a passion for the agricultural community and that will carry over with how I care for our members.

I enjoy serving Merrick County by serving on the board of the Merrick Medical Center Foundation Board.  In addition, I support UNL’s Women in Agriculture by assisting with planning and leading workshops. 

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband Matt and daughter Aubrey.

I also serve on the Central City Fitness Center board and am actively involved in our community. My husband and I live in Hamilton county and have three daughters. Our oldest is a registered Nurse, our middle child is in high school, and our youngest is in middle school at Central City Public Schools.

My wife, Erica, and I reside in St. Paul where Erica is working as a Physician Assistant at Meridian Clinical Research in Grand Island. When we are not at work, we enjoy spending time with our son, Elias.

I grew up 45 miles south of St. Paul in a small town called Giltner. I currently live with my longtime girlfriend Shelbea Mamot in Palmer, who is a 2nd grade teacher and volleyball coach for Palmer Public Schools. Shelbea and I together have 3 boys, Braylon, Paxton, Memphis, and 1 daughter, Briyer, as well as a dog, Bristol. We are excited and look forward to learning more about the community and becoming more involved in community events.

In our free time, Shelbea and I love to golf (I golf, she drives the cart), spend time on the boat at the lake, travel with the kids and spend quality time with friends and family.
