Seven members received Archer Credit Union scholarships to attend the Women in Agriculture Conference on February 23-24 in Kearney. In total over 325 women attended, representing every county in Nebraska, as well as parts of Iowa and Kansas.

In its 32nd year, the Women in Agriculture Conference assists women in their agricultural business by providing relevant management education. Dallas Zimbelman, a consumer loan officer and credit analyst at Archer Credit Union, conducted a workshop titled “Tips for Making your Annual Lender Renewal at Breeze.”

About 40 attendees listened to Dallas talk about how a borrower prepares and a lender uses balance sheets, cash flow and tax information. If you’re interested in a copy of the presentation, or talking with Dallas further, please contact her at dzimbelman@archerccu.org or call (308) 795-2204.

“It was an honor to be a presenter this year at the 32nd annual Women in Ag Conference. It was uplifting to see so many amazing women come together to celebrate agriculture and persevere during this economic struggle,” commented Dallas.

The Women in Agriculture Conference is part of the Women in Agriculture program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Please visit wia.unl.edu for more information.
